Since the sinking of the UC, the ocean has decorated the ship with its own masterpiece of color and texture. Psychedelic doesn’t begin to describe the intricacies of each and every wall of this wreck – this image shows a 10′ x 20′ area of the wheelhouse, with every single inch covered in life. Strobe flashes bring out tonality that hides in the dark and captivates the viewer. Every time I dive the UC, I seem to spend more time than anticipated just staring at these ornate walls.
