Asteroid 372 Palma drew my attention to the Andromeda Galaxy a few months ago with its amazing eccentricity for an asteroid. I have yet to process that data. I did, however, process an image I took of the NGC206 region in November, 2011. There are so many things to look at in there, it reminds me of snorkeling on a beautiful coral reef! Robert Gendler has labeled plenty of globular clusters using the Hodge’s Andromeda Galaxy Catalog. Bruce Pipes went a step further also using the “RBC” Catalog (link below). I tried to see images in that catalog to try to match up some RBC globs with my image.
