This photo shows the different colors and patterns that covered the entirety of Grecian Rocks as we explored. Our fluorescent light flew over the landscape like a helicopter’s spotlight, searching across neighborhoods. Proteins in corals and fish lit up green; algae, sponges, and the random invertebrate lit up with reds and oranges. The ocean floor was one giant, living, glowing black-light poster. One of the most mesmerizing things I’ve ever experienced in my entire life.
