Grooved Brain Coral (Disploria labyrinthiformis) – Grecian Rocks, John Pennekamp St Park, Fl Keys
Brain Corals are already one of my favorite subjects to explore and photograph. They’re large, detailed, and provide a visual indicator of reef health. This dive, under the dark cloak of night, they were lighting up with vibrant purples, reds, and maroons – patterns quickly transcended natural and became psychedelic.
