Atlantic Lizardfish (Synodus saurus) – Blue Heron Bridge, Riviera Beach, Fl
This lizardfish was waiting patiently for a passing meal. Covered by sand, he disappears into the bottom. Our fluorescent lights, however, quickly gave away his position as his normally sandy colored camouflage turned into a radiant green light show.
