Chad floats over the crow’s nest – Duane Wreck, South of Molasses Reef, Tavernier, FL
Chad – ‘We were taking a break during the long descent to the deck of the Duane, catching our breath in the crow’s nest. The crow’s nest comes up out of dark water, rising up to 60 feet, welcoming descending divers above the Duane’s superstructure. My dad recalls telling me to go to the crow’s nest to decide how comfortable I was before descending the rest of the way to the Duane’s deck. I only recall being so entranced with the scenes around me that ending the dive there would have been the biggest cop-out of my entire life.’
