Long-Spined Urchin (Diadema antillarum) – Blue Heron Bridge, Riviera Beach, Fl
Urchins can get overlooked at the Blue Heron Bridge because of all of the other incredible animals present. However, I have always taken particular interest in studying urchins because of the psychedelic patterns and shapes they possess. This Long-Spined Urchin displayed blueish hues against the yellowish background of its rocky home, making it explode off of the background, beckoning me to shoot a close up.
